    Details The village community is benefited by enhancement of productivity of wastelands in making available grass, fodder, etc. Also, by the soil and moisture conservation works, groundwater recharge is achieved. Employment opportunities are also created through this programme.
    Eligibility criteriaThe programme is being implemented in prioritized watersheds, excluding Drought Prone Areas, IWDP, NWDPRA areas of the State. Details have been made available in Guidelines for Watershed Development of NABARD.
    How to AvailProposals of priority watersheds, excluding Drought Prone Areas, IWDP, NWPRA of the State are scrutinized and sanctioned by NABARD and State Steering Committee of the Government of Maharashtra.
