Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission ( DERC ) was constituted in May 1999 by the Government of NCT of Delhi. Its main duty is to look into the entire gamut of existing activity and search for various ways of power sector reforms. It regulate power purchase and procurement process of the transmission utilities and distribution utilities including the price at which the power shall be procured from the generating companies, generating stations or from other sources for transmission, sale, distribution and supply in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for various posts in DERC and the details are as following :

Last date for the receipt of application : 11th April 2011

1. Deputy Director ( Tariff Accounts & Financial Analysis )
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with grade pay of Rs. 6600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should posses PG Degree in Accountancy / Finance OR should be a qualifies CA . And should also have Knowledge of financial procedure in Commercial enterprises/ Govt. Accounting procedures.
   Experience : Candidate should posses experience in professional accounting and management of Staff. And graduation in Engineering(Electrical/ Mechanical/Power)/ Equivalent from a recognised Institute is desirable.
2. Deputy Director ( Transmission & Distribution )
   Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with grade pay of Rs. 6600/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in in Electrical/Power engineering and should be familiar with Commercial & Economic issues/Tariff issues/analytic modelling/power purchase agreements.
   Experience : Engineering experience in large public utilities with generation, transmission and distribution facilities.
3. Private Secretary
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300- 34800/- with grade pay of Rs. 4800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate along with the knowledge of computerised word processing and proficiency in short hand & typing in English.
   Experience : Experience of working as Personal Assistant to HOD for 5 yrs. In Central/State Govt. OR any PSU.
4. Caretaker
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 2800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed 12th examination .
   Experience : Experience of care taking and general maintenance of office building and other equipments of general convenience etc.
