Indian Research & Consultancy Centre ( IRCC ) play a vital role in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay ( IITB ) . It provides support for researchers to liaise with (potential) funding sources so as to be able to finance their research and development activities. IITB was established in 1958 and is the second-oldest campus of the IIT.

Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of IIT Bombay :

“Empowerment of Student & Teachers through Synch & asynch instruction” (Ministry of Human Resource Development)” ( Code : 09MHRD001 )

1. Software Engineers / Junior Software Engineer
   No. of posts : 6
   Salary : Rs. 16000 – 22000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B.E/B.Tech/ or M.Sc/MCA/M.Tech/ or PG Diploma in IT/CS from reputed institutes. Candidates having valid GATE score will be preferred.
   Experience : 1 – 4 years of software development experience in C/C++, Core Java, Joomla based web portals, JavaFx scripting, JEE5, PHP, PostgreSQL/MySQL and open source technologies and with exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle.
2. Junior Project Engineer / Project Engineer
   No. of posts : 4
   Salary : Rs. 16000 – 22000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B.E/B.Tech/ or M.Sc/MCA/M.Tech with the knowledge of of computer hardware, micro processors and micro controllers, integration with other peripherals such as LCD panels, USB devices, back- end computer systems etc.
   Experience : 1 – 4 years of hardware and engineering development experience in computer hardware, micro processors and micro controllers, integration with other peripherals such as LCD panels, USB devices, back-end computer systems, assembly language programming .
3. System Administrator
   No. of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs. 16000 – 22000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA .
   Experience : 1 – 4 years of experience in Systems and Network Administration, preferably with RHCE/CCNA. Experience in handling web/App/DB servers on Linux platform, knowledge and experience in management of SAN and virtualized environments using open source tools such as KVM, Xen.
4. Project Assistant
   No. of post s: 2
   Pay scale : Rs. 10000 – 16000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in any discipline along with the working knowledge of computers and typing and word processing, familiarity with office administration procedures (Accounts, Logistics and Dispatch, drafting, communications, filing, data management, event management etc).
   Experience : 6 months – 1 year of administrative experience.
5. Technical Assistant
   No. of posts : 4
   Pay scale : Rs. 10000 – 16000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in Science / Computer Applications with the knowledge of designing Printed Circuit Board (PCB), Soldering SMD components, making rapid prototype, testing the board after soldering and SMD rework. Follow with vendors for PCB manufacturing.
   Experience : 6 months – 1 year of programming experience in C/C++, Core Java, Joomla based web portals, JavaFx scripting, JEE5, PHP, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
6. Research Associates
   No. of posts : 4
   Salary : Rs. 16000 – 22000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should posses the degree of B.E/B.Tech/ or M.E/M.Tech with excellent subject knowledge in their respective domain along with the knowledge of word processing.
   Experience : Experience in using web technologies is desirable.
