• What is the Document requirement and procedure to obtain a RTO Permenant license in INDIA? (Both 2 and 4 wheelers)

    Documents Required

    • 3 photographs
    • R.C. (Registration book)

    • All vehicle papers
    • Learner’s license
    • Fill in details in form No.4, which is available at the RTO

    Procedure

    All vehicle papers should be valid
    A fee of Rs.35 is to be paid - Rs.15 as test fee and Rs.20 as license fee. Please note that the cost of fees is subject to change as per the government rules. From a number of 12 inspectors you will be assigned to any one of them. After he verifies and signs the papers of all the people assigned to him, you will be called to take the test by turns. If you pass the test then the signature of the superior inspector is required and the permanent license is issued. However, if you fail the test, then you can retake the test after 15 days. Also make sure that you are at Alandi between 10:30am and 12:00pm.

    Documents Required
    • 2 photographs (better to carry an extra one in case of emergency)
    • Original ration card + Xerox of the same
    • Certificate showing proof of age (birth certificate/X std certificate, etc) + Xerox of same
    • Fill in details in form No.2, which is available at the RTO.

    Procedure

    At the RTO, there is a line where the above documents will be verified. After the verification, your knowledge on traffic rules and regulations as well as interpretation of symbols will be tested. However, if the need arises, they may take a written test too. After all this, a learner’s license will be issued. This license is valid for a period of 6 months and can be renewed for another 6 months just once though. The next time, a fresh learner’s license will have to be made following the whole earlier procedure.

    Once the learner’s license is issued, it is only after a period of 30 days that a permanent license can be got. However, the test for the permanent license at Alandi should be given within the given 6 months before the expiry date of the learner’s license.

  • MSEB - Get a new electricity connection
    To apply for new connection-
    Fill up form A1 (To download the form go to http://www.mahadiscom.in/consumer/app_form.shtm and submit it to the sub-division office of your area.

    Documents:
    Following documents are required to be submitted with the form:

    * House tax receipt or commercial certificate (in case of new house).
    * House tax receipt (in case of old house).
    * Copy of plan (in case of bungalow)
    * Electricity bill of your neighbour.
    * If applicant is not the owner of the house- Copy of lease-deed and latest receipt of house rent.
    * Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST) to apply for discount in Service line charges (SLC) and Service connection charges (SCC).

    - Once the application is submitted to the sub-division office, it will be followed by site visit by the Area Engineer to verify details.
    - After the site visit, you will be issued a ‘Firm Quotation’ form by the sub-division office. The certificate gives the break-up of amount to be paid like SLC, SCC, security deposit and meter charges.
    - Pay the amount at the Division office.
    - Submit a wiring test report obtained from Government recognised electrical contractors with receipts of amount paid with the ‘Firm Quotation’ form to the sub-division office.
    - The same will be followed by another visit by the Area Engineer to test wiring and to install the meter.

    NOTE: Before applying for a new connection, clear all the arrears of MSEB bills in your name.

    The same form is required to be filled for:

    * Reinstallation
    * Addition/reduction of load
    * Temporary Supply meter.

  • Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) & Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE)

    Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is Government of India's flagship programme for achievement of Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in a time bound manner, as mandated by 86th amendment to the Constitution of India making free and compulsory Education to the Children of 6-14 years age group, a Fundamental Right.

    SSA is being implemented in partnership with State Governments to cover the entire country and address the needs of 192 million children in 1.1 million habitations.

    The programme seeks to open new schools in those habitations which do not have schooling facilities and strengthen existing school infrastructure through provision of additional class rooms, toilets, drinking water, maintenance grant and school improvement grants.

    Existing schools with inadequate teacher strength are provided with additional teachers, while the capacity of existing teachers is being strengthened by extensive training, grants for developing teaching-learning materials and strengthening of the academic support structure at a cluster, block and district level.

    SSA seeks to provide quality elementary education including life skills. SSA has a special focus on girl's education and children with special needs. SSA also seeks to provide computer education to bridge the digital divide.

  • JANANI SURAKSHA YOJANA (JSY)
    Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) is a safe motherhood intervention under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) being implemented with the objective of reducing maternal and neo-natal mortality by promoting institutional delivery among the poor pregnant women. The Yojana, launched on 12th April 2005, by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, is being implemented in all states and UTs with special focus on low performing states.



    2. JSY is a 100 % centrally sponsored scheme and it integrates cash assistance with delivery and post-delivery care. The success of the scheme would be determined by the increase in institutional delivery among the poor families



    3. The Yojana has identified ASHA, the accredited social health activist as an effective link between the Government and the poor pregnant women in l0 low performing states, namely the 8 EAG states and Assam and J&K and the remaining NE States. In other eligible states and UTs, wherever, AWW and TBAs or ASHA like activist has been engaged in this purpose, she can be associated with this Yojana for providing the services.



    3.1 Role of ASHA or other link health worker associated with JSY would be to:



    F Identify pregnant woman as a beneficiary of the scheme and report or facilitate registration for ANC,

    F Assist the pregnant woman to obtain necessary certifications wherever necessary,

    F Provide and / or help the women in receiving at least three ANC checkups including TT injections, IFA tablets,

    F Identify a functional Government health centre or an accredited private health institution for referral and delivery,

    F Counsel for institutional delivery,

    F Escort the beneficiary women to the pre-determined health center and stay with her till the woman is discharged,

    F Arrange to immunize the newborn till the age of 14 weeks,

    F Inform about the birth or death of the child or mother to the ANM/MO,

    F Post natal visit within 7 days of delivery to track mother’s health after delivery and facilitate in obtaining care, wherever necessary,

    F Counsel for initiation of breastfeeding to the newborn within one-hour of delivery and its continuance till 3-6 months and promote family planning.


    4. Important Features of JSY:



    4.1 The scheme focuses on the poor pregnant woman with special dispensation for states having low institutional delivery rates namely the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Rajasthan, Orissa and Jammu and Kashmir. While these states have been named as Low Performing States (LPS), the remaining states have been named as High performing States (HPS).



    4.2 Tracking Each Pregnancy: Each beneficiary registered under this Yojana should have a JSY card along with a MCH card. ASHA/AWW/ any other identified link worker under the overall supervision of the ANM and the MO, PHC should mandatorily prepare a micro-birth plan. Please see Annexure – I. This will effectively help in monitoring Antenatal Check-up, and the post delivery care.

    All pregnant women delivering in Government health centres like Sub-centre, PHC/CHC/ FRU / general wards of District and state Hospitals or accredited private institutions
