Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) was established in 1984 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. It is a premier R&D organization of the Department of Information Technology (DIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas. Its head office is located at Pune It has established the first international Internet gateway into India and is the recipient of prestigious national level awards for excellence in application-oriented R & D.

Pay scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with grade pay of Rs. 6600/-
Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 33 years of age as on 21st march 2011
Qualification : Candidate should posses 1st class degree of BE / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / IT, with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR 1st class MCA with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR 1st class ME / M Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science / IT/ Biomedical Electronics with specialization in Image Processing / Signal Processing / Biomedical Engineering with relevant post qualification experience of 1 year.

Application fees : DD of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram

And envelop containing the application form should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Senior Staff Scientist”
