• Department of Science and Technology ( DST ) DST Recruitment 2011

    Department of Science and Technology ( DST ) was established in 1971 under the Ministry of Science & Technology. Its main aim is to promote new areas of Science and Technology and to play the role of a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting Scientific and Technological activities in the country.

    DST invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Data Entry Operators ( DEOs ) and the details are as following :

    * Data Entry Operators ( DEOs )

    Total no. of vacancies : 35 posts
    Remuneration : Selected candidates will get the remuneration of Rs. 11000/- per month consolidated. No other payment will be admissible.
    Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years of age.
    Qualification : Candidate should have passed 12th standard and should possess a speed of not less than 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on Computer for data entry work and also should be well versed in M.S. Office applications like M.S. Word, M.S. Excel & M.S. Access. Candidates with graduation degree and / or Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Applications from a recognized institute along with experience in computer programming, data entry work in MS Excel and M.S. Access and in IT and web based applications will be preferred.

    Period of contract: For a period of six months to one year depending on the requirement and performance of the incumbents.
