• STATE LEVEL B.ED. ADMISSION 2009-2010

    Admission to all Govt. Non-Govt, Aided and Permanently Unaided Colleges of Education who have joined the Central Admission Process for B.Ed, course in the state for the Academic year 2009-2010 will be done as per provisions in Govt. Resolution No. NGC 2004/(4 l/04)CE-3, Dt. 16th February, 2004 by conducting Common Entrance Test on 7lh June, 2009 Director, Higher Education, Maharashtra State, Pune will work as the Competent Authority for the Centralized Admission Process. Information Brouchure alongwith sample application can be obtained from M.K.C.L.'s Authorized Learning Centre after remitting admission process fee from 2nd May, 2009.

    A)        Salient features of the Admission Process:- Academic Year 2009-2010
    1.         Along with the graduates, candidates appearing for degree examinations in March/April 2009 are eligible to appear for C.E.T.
    2.         Candidates belonging to Open, S.B.C.,O.B.C. must secure at least 18 and Reserve category must secure at least 15 marks in C.E.T.
    3.         Candidates wishing to seek admission in English Medium will have to give English Language Content Test of 50 marks along with CET. The candidate scoring 50% marks will be eligible to get admission in English Medium Colleges.


    Admission Process:-
    1.         Free Information Brouchuer
    2.         Application form can be obtained from MKCL's ALC centre by paying the admission process fees from 2nd May, 2009 to 27th May,2009 between 9 am to 5 pm. List of Region wise ALC is available on MKCL http://oasis.nikcl.org/bed website.
    3.         Combined fee of Application Form, scrutiny of application, CET examination & Admission process for graduate of Maharashtra will be :-
    i)        Open along with special & other backward (SBC & OBC)
    Category candidates Rs. 650/-ii)       Reserved category candidates Rs. 350/-. iii)       Graduate outside Maharashtra State belonging to all categories
    Rs. 650/-
    4.         Only one application Form is to be filled up for all colleges, Medium/Methods/Quota (70%,28% & 2%) No separate fees will be charged for different types


    C)        Common Entrance Test will be of one hour duration consisting of 50 items of 50 marks. The content and weightage of CET will be A) Mental Ablity 30% B) Teacher Aptitude 40% and C) General Awareness 30%
    D)        Alongwith CET candidates wishing to seek admission in English Medium has to appear English Language Content Test of 1 hour duration consisting 50 items of

    50 Mark.      The Content   and weightage will be 1) Comprehension 40% 2) Vocabulary   Focus   10%   3)   Grammar   16%  4)   Sentence   Formation   14%5) Phonetics 06% 6)Verbal Idioms & Proverbs 10% 7) Figure of speech 4%. Admission Process:-
    1)         Candidate should approach the nearest ALC of MKCL & register his name & shall pay the requisite fee, take the receipt and get Information Broucher & Sample Application form.
    2)         Sample application form is enclosed in Information Brochure. Candidate should fill up his own information in Sample application form and should reach to the ALC centre along with the receipt of payment of Fees along with Xerox copies of all the concern document. Concern centre Technician will verify the fee receipt and then Technician will feed online information given in the sample form. The information will be checked and confirmed by the candidate and a copy of the same form will be given to the candidate.
