  • Rashtriya Indian Military College (R.I.M.C.)

    The Examination for admission to the “ Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun” Will be held twice in year at Shree Shivaji Preparatory Military School, Shivaji Nagar, Pune 411 005, on 1st and 2nd June as well as 1st and 2nd Dec every Year. Only boys are eligible to appear for this Examination.

    The age of the candidate should not be less than 11 ½ years & not more than 13 years. The boys, studying in class VII or passed std. VII from any recognized school are eligible to appear for this examination.

    English, Mathematics and General Knowledge are the subjects for written examination, Candidates are permitted to write answers of Mathematics paper either in English or Hindi and General Knowledge paper in Hindi, English or regional language. Question papers for Mathematics and General Knowledge will be in English or Hindi Only. Interviews of only successful candidates in written examination will be conducted by the state Govt.

    The application forms and prospectus for the above Examination can be available to the students from the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttaranchal, by paying Rs. 250/- Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank to R.I.M.C. or Application forms may also be obtained in the office o4f Commissioner, Maharashtra State Council of Examinations by paying D.D. of any Nationalised Bank of Rs. 250/- in favour of “ Commandant, R.I.M.C., Dehradun payable at Dehradun” (S.B.I. Bhavan -Branch Code No. 1576 )

    Application should be submitted in duplicate in prescribed form accompanied by D.D. for Rs.50/- (Rs. 5/- in case of SC / ST candidates) in favour of Commandant R.I.M.C. Dehradun with the attested copies of Birth Certificate and Caste Certificate in duplicate. ( in case of SC / ST Candidates Only )

    The Government Commercial Certificate Examination is conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune to meet the demand of students who wish to acquire training which would qualify them for clerical appointment in the service of Government, Local Bodies or Commercial Firms as the case may be.
    The Management desirous of opening a new Institute shall submit a proposal to the Educational Officer (Secondary) of the District concerned. On receiving the proposal from the Management of the Institute concerned, the Educational Officer (Secondary) Zilha Parishad scrutinizes the same and submits the proposal to the Regional Deputy Director of Education concerned for due recognition to the Institute, as the power to grant recognition to the Institute rests with the Regional Deputy Director of Education concerned. After due recognition of the Institute by the Regional Deputy Director of Education concerned, necessary Institute Code No.the Institute is allotted by the Commissioner ' Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune-1 ', on receipt of Registration Fee of Rs. 500/- and necessary Affiliation form duly filled in by the Institute concerned on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper.

    Eligibility :The minimum qualifications for entering to the course of study shall be the passing of standard IX from a school recognised by the Department. Candidates who have undergone a full course of instructions by attending a recognised Typewriting / Shorthand Institutions for the purpose of the Examination in the subject or subjects which he desires to offer at the examination for the period at least four months or eighty office hours are eligible to appear for the said Examination, prior to the date of application.
    No Candidates will be admitted to the Typewriting & Shorthand Examinations unless the following Pre-conditions are fulfilled by them .

    Curriculum of Diploma in Teacher Education (D.Ed.) Prepared by Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training, Pune.
    The Sanction to the curriculum taken by S.C.E.R.T. Pune from Govt. of Maharashtra. Current curriculum of D.Ed. Sanctioned by the state Govt. as per G.R. TCM 1098/+81/sec. Edu. – 4/Dated 19.7.2004.
    There is Compulsion to follow this curriculum by all the NCTE authorized D.Ed. colleges in the state.

    Period of the course - 2½ years Out of which last six months consists of internship in Govt. recognized school. Certificate of passing D.Ed. Course is given to those candidates who provide certificate of satisfactorily completion of Internship

    Eligibility for Exam: -

    Candidate whose admission is through “State level D.Ed Admission committee“ and the admission which is taken through Management quota, Permission for the admission should be taken from appropriate authority.

    Application for the D.Ed. Exam:-.
    As per notification published by MSCE the duly filled Applications of the eligible candidates are submitted for counter sign to Principal District Institute of Education and Training of the concern District. In case of Mumbai, applications are submitted to Educational Inspector.

    Examination Centres:
    D.Ed. Exams are conducted twice in a year by M.S.C.E. Pune.

    Main Exam:
    Generally in the month of October or November exam is conducted in all the districts. Centres are as prescribed in notification of the concerned Exam.
    Supplementary Exam:
    This exam is only for repeater candidates (who are eligible for main exam and already appeared for the D.Ed. exam.) Fresh candidates can’t appear for the supplementary Exam.
    Centres for the supplementary Exam are at regional level only (Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Amrawati, Nagpur and Latur.)

    Practical & Internal
    Practical and Internal work should be completed by candidate as per syllabus sanctioned by Govt. of Maharashtra which is prepared by SCERT, Pune. Marks of practical exam. given by subject teacher should be submitted by the principal of concern D.Ed. college before 15 days of Exam. to M.S.C.E. Pune through Principal DIET/Educational Inspector (in case of Mumbai) in prescribed form (D.Ed. 50).

    Annual Lessons
    There are two annual Lessons for each year (First year & Second year) the PRINCIPAL DIET as per the instructions of M.S.C.E. Pune arranges these lessons.
    External Examiner will submit the marks of Annual lessons in sealed packets to M.S.C.E. Pune. Maximum marks for each lesson are 25.

    Medium:Examination is conducted in six Medium (Marathi, Urdu, Hindi, Gujarathi, English and Kannad).

    Passing : Candidate should secure minimum 50% marks in each head (Theory and Practical) of subject separatly for passing.

    A.T.K.T. - Candidates who fails in Maximum two subjects get facility of A.T.K.T.(Allow to keep terms) They can take admission for second year.
