The Examination for admission to the “ Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun” Will be held twice in year at Shree Shivaji Preparatory Military School, Shivaji Nagar, Pune 411 005, on 1st and 2nd June as well as 1st and 2nd Dec every Year. Only boys are eligible to appear for this Examination.

The age of the candidate should not be less than 11 ½ years & not more than 13 years. The boys, studying in class VII or passed std. VII from any recognized school are eligible to appear for this examination.

English, Mathematics and General Knowledge are the subjects for written examination, Candidates are permitted to write answers of Mathematics paper either in English or Hindi and General Knowledge paper in Hindi, English or regional language. Question papers for Mathematics and General Knowledge will be in English or Hindi Only. Interviews of only successful candidates in written examination will be conducted by the state Govt.

The application forms and prospectus for the above Examination can be available to the students from the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttaranchal, by paying Rs. 250/- Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank to R.I.M.C. or Application forms may also be obtained in the office o4f Commissioner, Maharashtra State Council of Examinations by paying D.D. of any Nationalised Bank of Rs. 250/- in favour of “ Commandant, R.I.M.C., Dehradun payable at Dehradun” (S.B.I. Bhavan -Branch Code No. 1576 )

Application should be submitted in duplicate in prescribed form accompanied by D.D. for Rs.50/- (Rs. 5/- in case of SC / ST candidates) in favour of Commandant R.I.M.C. Dehradun with the attested copies of Birth Certificate and Caste Certificate in duplicate. ( in case of SC / ST Candidates Only )

GOVERNMENT COMMERCIAL CERTIFICATE(G.C.C.)

The Government Commercial Certificate Examination is conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune to meet the demand of students who wish to acquire training which would qualify them for clerical appointment in the service of Government, Local Bodies or Commercial Firms as the case may be.
The Management desirous of opening a new Institute shall submit a proposal to the Educational Officer (Secondary) of the District concerned. On receiving the proposal from the Management of the Institute concerned, the Educational Officer (Secondary) Zilha Parishad scrutinizes the same and submits the proposal to the Regional Deputy Director of Education concerned for due recognition to the Institute, as the power to grant recognition to the Institute rests with the Regional Deputy Director of Education concerned. After due recognition of the Institute by the Regional Deputy Director of Education concerned, necessary Institute Code No.the Institute is allotted by the Commissioner ' Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune-1 ', on receipt of Registration Fee of Rs. 500/- and necessary Affiliation form duly filled in by the Institute concerned on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper.

Eligibility :The minimum qualifications for entering to the course of study shall be the passing of standard IX from a school recognised by the Department. Candidates who have undergone a full course of instructions by attending a recognised Typewriting / Shorthand Institutions for the purpose of the Examination in the subject or subjects which he desires to offer at the examination for the period at least four months or eighty office hours are eligible to appear for the said Examination, prior to the date of application.
No Candidates will be admitted to the Typewriting & Shorthand Examinations unless the following Pre-conditions are fulfilled by them .

Curriculum of Diploma in Teacher Education (D.Ed.) Prepared by Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training, Pune.
The Sanction to the curriculum taken by S.C.E.R.T. Pune from Govt. of Maharashtra. Current curriculum of D.Ed. Sanctioned by the state Govt. as per G.R. TCM 1098/+81/sec. Edu. – 4/Dated 19.7.2004.
There is Compulsion to follow this curriculum by all the NCTE authorized D.Ed. colleges in the state.

Period of the course - 2½ years Out of which last six months consists of internship in Govt. recognized school. Certificate of passing D.Ed. Course is given to those candidates who provide certificate of satisfactorily completion of Internship

c)	Prescribed internal and practical work should be completed by the candidate and internal marks should be sent to M.S.C.E. before 15 days of Examination, to M.S.C.E. without fail.

Application for the D.Ed. Exam:-.
As per notification published by MSCE the duly filled Applications of the eligible candidates are submitted for counter sign to Principal District Institute of Education and Training of the concern District. In case of Mumbai, applications are submitted to Educational Inspector.
For the Candidate of postal D.Ed. courses. Eligibility as well as

a)	Admission of candidate
b)	Verify Validity period to complete course as per undertaking given by candidate to concerned Education officer.
c)	Internal and practical works (term work)

Examination Centres:
D.Ed. Exams are conducted twice in a year by M.S.C.E. Pune.

Main Exam:	Generally in the month of October or November exam is conducted in all the districts. Centres are as prescribed in notification of the concerned Exam.
Supplementary Exam:	This exam is only for repeater candidates (who are eligible for main exam and already appeared for the D.Ed. exam.) Fresh candidates can’t appear for the supplementary Exam. Centres for the supplementary Exam are at regional level only (Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Amrawati, Nagpur and Latur.)

Mode of Exam:D.Ed Exam is in three steps

A)	Written Paper	Written Exam is conducted on different examination. Centres Prescribed by M.S.C.E.
B)	Practical & Internal	Practical and Internal work should be completed by candidate as per syllabus sanctioned by Govt. of Maharashtra which is prepared by SCERT, Pune. Marks of practical exam. given by subject teacher should be submitted by the principal of concern D.Ed. college before 15 days of Exam. to M.S.C.E. Pune through Principal DIET/Educational Inspector (in case of Mumbai) in prescribed form (D.Ed. 50).
C)	Annual Lessons	There are two annual Lessons for each year (First year & Second year) the PRINCIPAL DIET as per the instructions of M.S.C.E. Pune arranges these lessons. External Examiner will submit the marks of Annual lessons in sealed packets to M.S.C.E. Pune. Maximum marks for each lesson are 25.

Medium:Examination is conducted in six Medium (Marathi, Urdu, Hindi, Gujarathi, English and Kannad).

Passing : Candidate should secure minimum 50% marks in each head (Theory and Practical) of subject separatly for passing.

A.T.K.T. - Candidates who fails in Maximum two subjects get facility of A.T.K.T.(Allow to keep terms) They can take admission for second year.

Other terms and conditions for passing as per Govt. Resolution No.TCM 1098/ (189/98)/Sec. Edu.-4 Dated 03/02/2007.

1. Use Challan type 281 for deposit of TDS/TCS

2. Use separate challan to deposit Tax Deducted under each section.

3. Use separate challans to deposit tax deducted for different types of deductees, i.e. corporate or non corporate

4. The Correct 10 digit TAN of the deductor should be quoted in the challan otherwise the deductor would not get the credit for tax paid. Use a rubber stamp of TAN to avoid mistakes.
Correct TAN details can be verified on Income tax Department web site www.incometaxindia.gov.in

5. The Assessment year for which the payment is being made should be correctly quoted. For example if the tax is deducted in the month of May’10 and paid in June’10 then the financial year would be 2010-11 but the assessment year would be 2011-12 which is to be quoted in the challan.

Exceeds Rs. 3500 but less than Rs. 5000 - Rs 120 per month (nil after 1/07/2009),

Tax amendments for the FY 2011-12 are mentioned below : Increase in base income tax slab of men and senior citizens. Tax exemption limit remains the same i.e Rs. 20,000 on investment in tax saving Infrastructure bonds. A set of New Direct Tax Codes have been proposed, which will be active from Financial Year 2011. Senior citizen age reduced from 64 years to 60 years. People above 80 years of age to be included in the newly introduced 'Very Senior citizen' category.

Few amendments made to the taxation system for the FY 2010-11: From now onwards there will be only 2 pages in the IT filing form for individuals. More cases can now be appealed against. Rs. 20,000 tax exemption will be provided for investments in certain investment bonds. This is in addition to the already allowed exemption (Rs. 1,00,000) in certain savings instruments. Tax Exemption will be given for contribution to the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).

Registration Department is a part of Revenue & Forest Department, Inspector General of Registration is head of the Department. Government Photo Registry Office, Pune is under Registration Department. Manager is head of the Government Photo Registry Office
The Registration of document was under hand copying system up to the year 1920.

After that from the year 1921 to 1927 the preservation of documents was on blue prints.

Since year 1928 till today the preservation of document is under Microfilming (photography) system, but due to increase in number of documents, registration and subsequently increase in preservation of documents the Xerox system was adopted from 1/10/1995 and due to increase in registration workload of document andd being output capacity is as it is. Government has taken the decision of scanning of registered document on experimental basis by the Government undertaking C-DAC Institute.

Working progress :-
The documents registered from 384 Sub-Registrar Offices of Maharashtra State are sent to this office for the photography, printing and certification as per the Registration Act, 1908, Section 71.

The staff required for this working process is as follow :-

Receipt Section :-In this section, three employees are receiving the documents as per the list from Sub-Registrar Offices and send the acknowledgment to the respective Sub-Registrar Office and makes the entry in General Register for each Sub-Registrar Office separately.

Numbering � 3000 pages :-As per decided quota the numberer checks the list and confirms the number of documents with pages and he mentions the record on first and last document of the list of document as per list number, date of receipt, number of documents and number of pages. Number should be written on Top of the page of every document by Lead Pencil.

Photography :- Quota 2000 sides on one camera:-In this section photographer photographs 2000 sides per day with the help of his assistant. The make of camera is SE-7 Japan, CZ German for one film side photography quota is reduced up to 1500 sides per day.

Developing :- The film rolls are developed and processed with sephia tone day to day with skilled manual process.

Printing Section :-The 1500 sides are printed with the help of One Enlarger, Two Senior Technical Assistant and One Unit. The Enlarger make is Pathe CZ Enlarger Germany.

Toning Section :- The work of print washing, Sepia toning and drying is completed in this section with the help of 12 workers.

Scrutiny :- With the help of 7 Technical Employees, the prints are scrutinized as per office decided work is 3000 sides per day by one scrutinizer after the work of tagging the prints are ready for certification.

8) Certification Section :- 600 sides per day :-

The work certification is completed by Photo Registrar and the decided work is 600 sides per day by one Photo Registrar and film is also certified.

General Section :- In this section the document rejected by Photo Registrar for the various reason and the top priority documents (i.e. Court and Bank requirements) procedure is completed.

Despatch Section :- After completion of above process of photography and certification and the Original documents with two record prints are dispatched to respective Sub-Registrar Office

Film Record Section :- The certified films are preserved in this section and the work of pasting of films and this section also supplying the extra copy as per the requirement of Sub-Registrar Office.

Film Checker checks the film as per the quota 76 film tins per day.

C-DAC � Scanning Pilot Project :-
As per the Government Order dtd. 28th March, 1999, C-Dac should give 10 Lac sides after scanning and printing on the experimental basis. Every original document is opened for scanning. These opened documents are scanned page wise. The image of these pages is stored on the hard disc of a computer. Later these images undergo various procedures, such as blank page marking, blank page deletion, renaming and printing etc. Finally these images are taken on a Compact Disk.

Under this system of scanning of document C-Dac is expected to deliver a output of 20,000 pages per day to Govt. Photo Registry Office. After checking and certification by Photo Registrar, the prints are ready for despatch. The prints rejected by Photo Registrar are rescanned and printed by C-Dac. This Compact Disc (CD) is made ready for preservation.

NSDL uptades e-TDS/e-TCS Return System

Friends, all the correction in e-tds/e-tcs return is not possible without consolidated FVU you know very well about that. The regular FVU doesn't make any correction in e-tds/e-tcs return therefore the system income tax department provides new consolidated FVU to submit correction return, it is very complicated to got get consolidated FVU, but there are lot of benefits. NSDL has provided a good facility in this regard and updated consolidated.

Earlier there was no lock to update challan detail after its booked status or Provisional Booked Status. Now consolidated fvu file after using update mode in challan sheet, allow to edit only those columns which are editable and locked those columns which are not editable. In case status of challan is "Booked" or "Provisional Booked", correction in section code, Interest and Others can only be done in challan sheet. Pictures view for more clarity is also below below.

1. As per Section 140 of the IT Act 1961, the person responsible for signing the I-T return can be, typically, the:
a) Managing Director or any other Director (in case the MD is unavailable) in case of a Company;
i. Any authorized person holding a legal power of attorney in case of a Non-resident Company;
b) Managing Partner in case of a Firm or any other Partner (in case the Managing Partner is unavailable);
c) Principal officer / Chief Executive Officer or Competent person in case of other entities such as Association of persons, Body of Individuals, Artificial Juridical person, Local Authority, Trust etc
d) Karta in case of a HUF;
e) Self in case of an Individual or;
i. Any authorized person holding a legal power of attorney in case the individual is incapable of signing the I-T Return or is absent from India.
2. Any person wishing to sign the I-T Return digitally has to complete the registration process for the DSC on the e-filing website- http://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in prior to signing.
3. Any person could register his DSC to be used to sign the I-T Return of any entity provided he was a Director or Partner or Key Person as mentioned in the Key person Schedule of the I-T Return (ITRs 5 or 6) already filed electronically with the Income Tax Department.
4. Any person could register a DSC and use the same in his individual capacity to sign his own IT Return as well as sign the I-T returns in his various capacities as mentioned in 1 above, if required, and for as many entities as applicable.
5. Any person could change or update his DSC registration any number of times.

Allowances in 6th Pay Commission as Per UGC to Senior College Teachers

Besides the scales of pay, the Pay Review Committee also recommends the revision of various existing allowances admissible to teachers. Some new allowances have also been recommended to be granted to the eachers, once again, to make the pay and allowances more attractive for both bringing fresh talent into the profession and also for retaining those who are already in the University and College structure.

1 House Rent Allowance
The Pay Review Committee recommends that teachers working in different parts of the country shall be entitled to House Rent Allowance according to the following

three categories of cities:
Category X with population of 50 lakhs and above
(A-1 cities earlier) = 30% of (Basic Pay + Grade Pay)
Category Y with having population of between 5 lakhs and 50 lakhs (A, B-1 and B-2 cities earlier) = 20% of (Basic Pay + Grade Pay) Category Z with population below 5 lakhs (C and unclassified cities) = 10% of (Basic Pay + Grade Pay)

2 Dearness Allowance and City Compensatory Allowance
Dearness Allowance may be allowed to the teaching faculty as admissible to the central government employees from time to time.
The VI Central Pay Commission has abolished City Compensatory Allowance and the Pay Review Committee agrees with that recommendation in respect of teachers
also.

3 Transport Allowance
The VI Central Pay Commission has raised the Transport Allowance from Rs. 800 upto Rs. 3200. The Pay Review Committee recommends that teachers should be paid the allowance in the following graded manner, according to the size of the cities wherein the institutions are located:
A-1/ A Class cities (13 notified cities1) Rs. 3200+ DA thereon
Other Cities Rs. 1600+ DA thereon
This allowance shall be admissible to all college and university teachers, irrespective
of the distance between the place of residence and the place of work, whether or not
they are residing in an accommodation provided by the employer on the premises of
the institution.

4 Children’s Education Allowance (CEA)
The Pay Review Committee recommends that a teacher shall be entitled CEA for the
school going children up to Class XII at the following rates per month on
reimbursement basis in line with the provision for central government employees.
Up to Rs. 1000/- per month, per child up to a maximum of two children
Up to Rs. 3000/- per month, per child who is residing in a school hostel, up to a
maximum of two children.
However, both hostel subsidy and child education allowance cannot be availed
of concurrently.
The above limits would be automatically raised by 25% every time the
dearness allowance on the revised pay structure goes up by 50%.

5 Academic Allowance
There has been a persistent demand from all sections of the teaching community for
some regular, monthly academic allowance to meet the expenses for internet
rentals, computer peripherals and for buying books and journals all of which have
become very expensive. Finding the demand justified, the Committee recommends
that an academic allowance of Rs.1500 Per month should be paid to an Assistant
Professor, Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) and Assistant Professor (Selection
Grade) and Rs. 1200 per month to Associate Professor, Senior Associate Professor,
Professor and Senior Professor towards meeting the expenses. It will also make the
pay packages more attractive for the new entrants since teachers in Assistant
Professor category will get more academic allowance in comparison with Associate
Professor, Senior Associate Professor, Professor and Senior Professor.
The Committee has consciously made the recommendation of paying higher
Academic Allowance to teachers in various categories of Assistant Professor
since in its view their needs at the initial stages of their academic career are

6 Research Promotion Grant (RPG)
Apart from several representations received by the PRC, several teachers’ have
voiced the demand for seed money to encourage research work in universities and
colleges. The Committee is aware of the fact that potential researchers need to be
encouraged to match the global competition. It is of the opinion that research works
should be treated as national investment and that substantial measures should be
taken in this regard.

The PRC recommends that new entrants to the profession should be given one
time start up seed money of Rs. 2.00 lakhs and Rs. 5.00 lakhs for
humanities/social sciences and sciences respectively as financial support for
carrying out research against duly approved projects.
The process for granting approval to such projects should be developed by colleges
in consultation with departments/discipline in the university and in the university
through faculty committee of advanced study of research and board of study.

6 Special Compensatory (Hill Area) Allowance
The Committee has taken note of the problems in filling the posts in the hill districts
and therefore recommends that a Special Compensatory (Hill Area) Allowance
of Rs.600 per month may be allowed to teachers posted in these areas as
notified by the Central/ State Governments.

7 Special Compensatory (Remote Locality) Allowance
The Committee has taken note of the large number of vacancies of teachers in the
remote areas and feels some special compensation is called for to attract teachers to
work in the remote areas. The Committee therefore recommends Special
Compensatory (Remote Locality) Allowance to the teachers as admissible to
the Central Government employees on the terms and conditions governing the
grant of Special Compensatory (Remote Locality) Allowance.
Provided that in places where more than one Special Compensatory Allowance is
admissible, the teachers in such stations will have the option to choose between the
allowances (mentioned at 5.2.13 and 5.2.14 above) whichever benefits them the
most.

8 Special (Duty) Allowance for Teachers Serving in North Eastern
Region including Sikkim and Ladakh
The Committee recommends a Special (Duty) Allowance at the rate of 12.5% on
pay plus grade pay to teachers serving in these areas as applicable to Central
Government employees.

9 Deputation Allowance
Deputation duty allowance for local or outstation postings may be allowed at
the rate of 5% and 10% respectively on pay plus grade pay subject to a
maximum of Rs. 2000 and Rs.4000 respectively.

10 Leave Travel Concessions
The Teachers Associations have suggested the following pattern of LTC.
A Block of 2 years should be followed in place of 4 years
Home Travel: Every Year
Entitlement: By Air from the beginning of the service
To begin with the Asian countries should be included in the scheme of LTC
In case of non-availing of LTC it should be en-cashable.
The Sixth CPC has made certain changes in the travel entitlement and definition of
family. The Committee endorses these modifications and recommends the same
may be applied to the teaching faculty also as and when notified by the Government
of India.

Recommended Pattern of LTC: As regards the pattern of LTC, the PRC feels every
teacher must get a break at least once in a year. It therefore recommends the
following pattern of LTC for teaching faculty.
LTC for travel to Home Town may be allowed on any three occasions not
exceeding one in a year in a block of 4 years.
For any one year of the block of four years, LTC may be allowed for any place
in India. It would thus mean total of 4 LTC in a block of 4 years but not
exceeding one in any one year. The PRC however does not recommend
encashing of LTC if not availed during a block year.
The LTC for family members may be allowed to be combined with seminars/
workshops and other academic assignments being attended by the teacher.

11 Traveling Allowances
Traveling Allowances on tour or transfer has been revised by the Government of
India for the Central Government employees. Air Travel has been allowed to
incumbents of posts with grade pay of Rs. 5400 and above. The Committee
recommends that teaching faculty may also be allowed TA/DA as admissible to
Central/State Government employees, as the case may be, from time to time.

12 Medical Allowance / Medical Insurance
Teachers from various parts of the country had also demanded that they be paid
some monthly allowance to meet their day to day medical expenses, since medical
facilities and medicines had become very expensive.
The Committee, however, was not in favour of recommending a fixed monthly
medical allowance. Instead, the Committee recommends that a better purpose
towards this end would be served by recommending a medical insurance for
all teachers wherein a teacher would pay 30% of the premium and the rest
would be contributed by the University/College.
The Pay Review Committee further recommends that the University Grants
Commission negotiate with leading medical insurance companies to get the
teachers across the country the best possible deal.

13 Group Insurance
The VI Central Pay Commission has recommended that the subscription of Group A
officers for group insurance scheme should be raised to Rs. 720 per month from the
present Rs.120 per month.

The Committee recommends that a similar group insurance scheme should be
made applicable to all university and college teachers throughout the country
to ensure adequate social security for them. The University Grants
Commission may also negotiate with various group insurance agencies to get
the best possible deal for teachers.

14 Consultancy Assignments
The Pay Review committee is of the considered opinion that teachers both in
universities and colleges should be encouraged to accept consultancies, direct
projects, register patents, R&D Products and technology transfers as a part of their
academic duties. This would help the society at large to benefit from the professional
inputs by the academic community and contribute directly to societal development.
Besides it would help the individual teacher to augment his/her personal and
institution resources. The Committee therefore recommends that the resources
earned by a teacher through consultancy should be divided between the teacher and
the institution in the manner give below. The University Grants Commission should
also lay down detailed guidelines for carrying out consultancy work since this would
help transparency and uniformity in such work.
(i) Amount received up to 30% of the gross salary (basic salary+ grade
pay+ DA+ Academic Allowance) – No sharing, entire amount to go the
teacher concerned.
(ii) Amount received beyond 30% and up to the gross Salary - Sharing of
the money beyond 30% in the ratio of 70:30 between the teacher and the
institution respectively.
(iii) Amount received beyond the gross salary – To be shared in the ratio of
50:50 of the amount of the money received beyond the gross salary
between the teacher and institution.
The Committee recommends that the proposed arrangement should work for five
years where after the scheme should be reviewed in view of future developments.

Government of Madhya Pradesh is taking major steps for ensuring successful implementation of the provisions of MGNREGA. Works enlisted in schedule-I of the NREGA Act are been taken priority basis to provide employment and creating durable assets in the rural areas of the state. It is being observed from the state level that rural connectivity is the most important segment which is required for sustainable development of villages. The state government has launched a program namely “Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (MMGSY)” to achieve the above purpose.

MMGSY has been originated in order to provide road connectivity to maximum/each village of Madhya Pradesh within the range of population between 500 and 250 which are not covered under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna(PMGSY) till the year 2013. Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Madhya Pradesh( MGNREGS-MP), Backward Region Grant Fund( BRGF ), State Plan Head are the three functional components for running the scheme of Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna. Total 19,386 km length of gravel roads will be constructed. For this the total estimated expenditure will be of about Rs. 3,300 crore. The wage part for the construction of road will be done by the Job Card holders under MGNREGS-MP and no contractual work will be taken/done under MGNREGS-MP (as per NREGA act). Transportation of soil, watering and rolling for road construction will be bifurcated in the wage material expenditure (wage: material) ratio of 60:40 as per NREGA act. If the above ratio disbalances then the exceeding expenditure on the material component will be done by BRGF in the BRGF region else it will be done by State Plan Head. Within the road the construction of Culverts/Cross Drainage will be given on contractual basis and will be funded by BRGF or State Plan Head whichever is applicable in the particular region.

For full implementation and management of the scheme, a Project Management System is being designed and developed, under which monitoring and evaluation of entered data will be done for all the three components MGNREGS-MP, BRGF and State Plan Head individually and jointly and will be ported on the world wide web for the purpose of maintaining transparency and accountability.

Language of the Question Papers

Applicants have the option to write the entrance exams in either Hindi or English. The language for writing the exam must be mentioned in the admission form. The option cannot be changed afterwards. But those who have opted for the Hindi paper will get the question paper in both Hindi as well as English.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification needed by one to appear for the AIEEE is a pass in standard 10+2. Students of the general category must have above 50 percent marks and applicants of the reserved communities must have above 40 percent marks in their finals. Students who are going to appear for their finals are eligible to apply for the AIEEE exam too.

How to Apply?

One can apply for the AIEEE exam by the online or offline methods. Forms can also be got by post from the office of the Assistant Secretary (AIEEE). An alternative is to get it personally from the regional offices of the CBSE. Other options are the chosen branches of the Syndicate Bank or other Designated Institutions.

Cost of Application Form

The price of the AIEEE admission form is Rs 450/- for students of the general category and Rs. 225/- for students of the reserved communities

Rules for Reservation

Reservation for applicants of SC/ST/OBC categories or who are handicapped shall be applicable as per the norms of the Indian Government/State concerned. This may be improvised on a timely basis.

How to fill the Form?

Students need to be very careful when they are filling the forms by the online or offline methods. Once the form is posted, students won’t get another chance to rectify the mistakes they made. Some tips are:

Makes sure that you have filled the form using all the correct information only.
Use only the correct pen or pencil as mentioned in the prospectus.
Attach all the important documents securely. Non presentation of vital documents will lead to the rejection of candidature.
Provide the required number of recent photographs.

Online submission of application - The forms can be submitted from the mid week of November to the second week of January.
Last date for the reception of application by post - The last week of December.
Sale of Information Bulletin at chosen branches of the Syndicate Bank - This will begin in the second week of January.
Last date for the reception of forms with Bank Draft – Mid of January
Date of dispatch of Admit Card - Admit cards will be dispatched from the mid week of March and this will resume until the end of the month.

Interest subsidy on education loans to students from economically weaker sections.

Central Scheme to provide Interest Subsidy for the period of moratorium on Educational Loans taken by students from economically weaker sections.

Government of India has approved a Scheme to provide full interest subsidy during the period of moratorium on loans taken by students belonging to economically weaker sections under the Educational Loan Scheme, for pursuing any of the approved courses of studies in technical and professional streams, from recognized institutions in India.

We are providing hereunder guidelines of the scheme:-

1.Applicability of the scheme

The Scheme would be applicable only for studies in recognized technical and professional courses in India. The interest subsidy shall be linked with the existing Model Educational Loan Scheme of our bank and restricted to students enrolled in recognized technical/ professional courses (after Class XII) in India in Educational Institutions established by Acts of Parliament, other Institutions recognized by the concerned Statutory Bodies, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other institutions set up by the Central/ State Government.

2.Eligibility for Interest Subsidy

The interest subsidy under the Scheme shall be available to the eligible students only once, either for the first undergraduate degree course or the post graduate degrees/diplomas in India. Interest subsidy shall, however, be admissible for integrated courses (graduate + post graduate).

Interest Subsidy under this scheme shall not be available to those students who discontinue the course midstream, or for those who are expelled from the Institutions on disciplinary or academic grounds. However, the interest subsidy will be available if the discontinuation was due to medical grounds for which necessary documentation to the satisfaction of the Head of educational institution will have to be given.

3.Subsidy Applicable Period

Under the Scheme, interest payable by the student belonging to economically weaker section for availing of the Educational Loan for Technical/ Professional courses in India for the period of moratorium i.e., course period, plus one year or six months after getting job, whichever is earlier, as prescribed under Model Educational Loan Scheme of the bank, shall be borne by the Government of India. After the period of moratorium is over, the interest on the outstanding loan amount shall be paid by the student, in accordance with the provisions of the existing Model Educational Loan Scheme and as may be amended from time to time.

4.Applicable Academic Year

The Scheme shall be applicable from the academic year 2009-10 starting 1st April, 2009. The loan amount taken starting from the Academic year 2009-10 (irrespective of the date of sanction) shall only be covered under the scheme of Interest subsidy.

Note: Interest on any amount disbursed for courses starting before the academic year 2009-10 would not be considered for subsidy.

5.Income Limit

The benefits under the Scheme would be applicable to those students belonging to economically weaker sections, with an annual gross parental/ family income upper limit of Rs. 4.5 lac per year (from all sources). The scheme is intended to cater to the needs of students belonging to economically weaker sections with the above prescribed upper parental gross income limit of the family from all sources which is based on economic index and not on social background.

6.Competent Authority for Issuing Income Certificate

Income proof shall be required from the students from such public authorities as are authorized by the State Governments for certification of income status for this scheme, including Central and State Sector Schemes.

For the State of Maharashtra, the Tahsildar is the competent authority for issuing the income certificate.

For other States, student borrowers are requested to approach our branch officials for knowing the details of competent authority who are authorized to issue such income certificate.

7.Others

Interest subsidy should be claimed under the scheme only if subsidy was not being claimed against any other State Government scheme.

All the eligible student borrowers are requested to visit the concerned branches (where they have availed education loan) for enrolling to avail Interest subsidy during moratorium period under the scheme. It is requested to go through the above contents carefully before approaching the branch officials for submitting the application for interest subsidy claim. The scheme is applicable only for those who have availed educational loan on or subsequent to 01.04.2009.

Steps to be followed by the student borrowers for availing the benefit of interest subsidy under the scheme:-

Procure income certificate as discussed in the point no. 5 as above.
Ensure having taken all requisite certificates and approach the respective branch.
Submit the application for claiming subsidy (Application/ Agreement will be supplied by the branch officials)

The APGLI Department is one of the oldest departments in the State. The Scheme was originally started in 1907 by the Nizam of erstwhile State of Hyderabad for the welfare of his employees.
A Management Committee used to run the scheme initially in the name of Family Pension Fund. Later the scheme was renamed as Hyderabad State Life Insurance Fund in the year 1913.

After formation of Andhra Pradesh state in 1956, the scheme was changed as "Andhra Pradesh Government Life Insurance Fund". The first Managing Committee meeting after formation of Andhra Pradesh State consisting of 4 members, one Secretary and a President was held on 25-9-1957 and Sri B.Gopala Reddi, the then Honorable Finance Minister was President of the meeting.

Application for (Caste) Validity Certificate

The applicant has to present an application Form No 1 for authentication of caste to the Caste Verification committee of the District.
The Caste Verification Committee will investigate the records from school, certificates of family members, and verification of other appropriate materials.
If all the above mentioned record establishes to be in order the said committee will grant caste validity certificate in Form No. 1A within one month from the date of application.
Where the said Committee does not issue the certificate in stipulated time, for such delay the Deputy Commissioner of Dist may intervene.
The certificate issued by the said Committee shall be legitimate for the purpose of employment and education.
The Caste Validity Certificate is legal and valid until it is revoked or until he converts his religion.

It is informed to all the candidates either placed in Merit List or Wait List of AIPMT 2011 Examination that the Rank Letters to the candidates placed in Merit List are being dispatched in such a manner that the candidates would start receiving the same in the second week of June. Likewise, the Rank Letters of the candidates placed in Wait List would be dispatched in such a manner that the candidates would start received the same from the third week of June.

In addition to above, the Rank Letters would also be hosted on the website by the end of third week of June. Further, the facility of downloading the Admit Card of AIPMT Preliminary Examination would also start by the same time. The candidates those have not received the Rank Letters or they have misplaced the Admit Card(s), they are advised to download the same from the website www.aipmt.nic.in. No duplicate document, i.e., Rank Letter/Admit Card(s) would be issued from the Board’s Office.

If successful candidates have shifted from the address given in the application form, they may please request to their old Post Office about the new address and request the Post Office to deliver the mail at the new address.
